Rosie Irwin

Rosie started her career with Marriott International in 1994 as a Front Desk Service Representative at the Dulles Airport Marriott where she later moved to supervisor positions in both the Front Desk and Housekeeping.  In 1998 Rosie transitioned to the Human Resource discipline with Marriott as a Benefits Specialist at the Tysons Corner Marriott where she held several HR positions from supervisor to Director of Human Resources.

In 2007 Rosie transitioned to the Marriott Training & Development team as the Performance Development Manager for the Northern Virginia Market which included the Fairview Park Marriott, Tysons Corner Marriott, Washington Dulles Airport Marriott, Washington Dulles Airport Marriott Suites and Washington Dulles Westfields Marriott. In April 2011 Rosie transitioned back into Human Resources at the Washington Dulles Airport Marriott where she is currently the Director of Human Resources. Rosie is original from Panama and is fluent in Spanish. Rosie attended the University of Panama where she studied English. Later attended the Washington Business School in Vienna, VA where she earned her Executive Professional diploma and George Mason University where she received her Human Resources Management Certification.

During her HR career Rosie has been recognized numerous times as the Regional HR Shining Star and Eastern Region HR Excellence Award recipient. Rosie has been nominated to the J.W. Marriott Award of Excellence and received the Debbie Marriott Harrison TakeCare Award of Excellence.
