Matthew Ozuna

Matt is from Walla Walla, WA where he received a liberal arts education from Whitman College. He assumed an educator role after college and worked with multicultural students at Whitman and within Walla Walla Public Schools. Matt interacted with many community organizations and served on nonprofit boards where he supported program development, fundraising and marketing. He gained hospitality and sales experience while working abroad in New Zealand and completed a number of tourism consulting projects – the most recent of which involved community-based tourism and ecotourism in the Abruzzo region of Italy – for his graduate coursework at George Washington University. Matt is pursuing a Master of Tourism Administration with a concentration in Sustainable Tourism Management.

Before assuming the position of Advocacy and Data Manager, Matt worked with Destinations International’s Membership Engagement Team and managed two political campaigns during the 2016 election cycle.
