Jeremy Latimer is the Director of Rail Services for the Virginia Passenger Rail Authority (VPRA). He and his team manage the contracts for Virginia’s state-supported services, passenger rail service performance, real estate and railroad assets owned by the VPRA, and the VPRA’s grant investments in passenger rail. Jeremy has worked to advance freight and passenger rail improvements in the Commonwealth for 13 years. He currently Chairs the States for Passenger Rail Coalition and represents Virginia on the Amtrak-Intercity Passenger Rail Committee – national organizations that advocate and collaborate on federal investments in passenger rail improvements across the United States. He loves to travel (not just by train) and hopes that passenger rail service grows as an unique opportunity for tourism throughout Virginia.
