Since founding Carmie McCook and Associates 18 years ago, she has taught thousands of business leaders and other professionals how to be more dynamic, engaging, and memorable speakers for any situation that puts them in the spotlight.
Carmie has taught hundreds of high-profile individuals how to confidently handle media interviews with virtually every major U.S. and international media outlet, from the New York Times to the Times of London; Radio France International to NPR. She has helped CEOs, ambassadors, and astronauts develop and deliver memorable interview messages for major news events, such as the Olympics and the Global Climate Conferences in Copenhagen and Paris. Carmie even prepares Pulitzer Prize-winning reporters with the Wall Street Journal for interviews with national TV and Radio news programs.
Her clients are some of the most well-known names and brands in the world, such as Samsung, PepsiCo, Coca-Cola, Swissport, Bayer, Honda, National Geographic, Olympic athletes, and many more. But, she gets just as much enjoyment teaching spokespeople with small organizations how to use media interviews effectively to promote their brand and share important news!
Based in Washington, D.C., Carmie also serves on the Board of Directors of the British-American Business Association (BABA) and is an active member of BABA’s Energy and Environmental Business Committee. She is a native of Atlanta, Georgia, which explains the southern accent.
