Mark Shore is currently the President and CEO of Visit Bath County, inc., a 501c6 destination marketing organization under contract with the County of Bath, Virginia.
Mark is originally from North Carolina and a graduate of UNC- Wilmington with 30 plus years of experience in the hospitality and tourism industry, across 5 southeastern states. His early career included work for two corporate hotel groups, and as marketing director for a historic attraction.
He has been CEO of Destination Marketing Organizations in North Carolina and Tennessee and served as the Director of Tourism Marketing for the State of North Carolina from 2014-2019. Prior to joining Visit Bath County, Mark served as a tourism consultant helping cities like Longmont, Colorado, Rochester, Minnesota and Pleven, Bulgaria.
He is a Certified Destination Management Executive through Destinations International and the proud father of 4 children, 5 goats and a donkey.
