Destination Development Manager Virginia Tourism Corporation
Kelli Weaver serves as the Destination Development Manager for the Shenandoah Valley and Piedmont regions of Virgnia. Through her professional roles in local government, higher education, and recreation, Kelli has been involved in tourism and community development, outdoor recreation programming, and social media marketing.
In addition to her role with the Virginia Tourism Corporation, Kelli also serves as the Creative Marketing Director for Rev3Endurance and is a member of the planning committees for the Virginia Adventure Education Conference (VAAEC) and 2025 Virginia Land Conservation & Greenways Conference. She has presented on the impact of outdoor recreation at the 2024 Virginia Land Conservation & Greenways Conference and maximizing tourism and recreation partnerships at the Confluence of States Education Series. She is an active volunteer with the National Park Service and Potomac Appalachian Trail Club (PATC) and was recently placed on the State Trails Advisory Committee (STAC).
Kelli is a graduate of Shenandoah University (MS, Organizational Leadership), James Madison University (BS, Sociology), and Laurel Ridge Community College (AA&S, Recreation and Outdoor Leadership).
