Erika serves as the Tourism Director for Pulaski County. Her role focuses on enhancing Pulaski County’s profile as a destination for visitors, while also fostering local pride and economic development. With a degree in Communication from Radford University, she brings expertise in public engagement and strategic outreach to her role. In 2024 she received the Excellence in Tourism Leadership – Rising Star Award from Friends of Southwest Virginia.
Before joining the county, Erika spent nine years managing the Access to Community College Education (ACCE) program at New River Community College. In this capacity, she played a pivotal role in fundraising and marketing, enhancing the program’s visibility and impact within the community.
A lifelong resident of Pulaski County, Erika is dedicated to enhancing the local community. In her spare time, she enjoys unwinding with her husband and their four children, often spending time together at Claytor Lake.
