Brian Shanle currently serves as Resort General Manager at the Kalahari Resort & Convention Center in Sandusky, Ohio and was selected to be the opening Resort General Manager of the new Kalahari Resort coming soon to Spotsylvania County, Virginia.
Prior to joining the Kalahari team, he was Vice President of Operations for the world’s first Nickelodeon Resort in Orlando, Florida. His hospitality leadership experience spans over 30 years, 10 brands, and 8 states.
He has served as General Manager for multiple Intercontinental Hotels Group hotels where his teams earned numerous Quality Excellence awards, and were voted Best Holiday Inn – North America for a record 6 years in a row.
Shanle earned both Certified Hotel Administrator and Certified Rooms Division Executive designations from the American Hotel Lodging Association
