Mark Hubbard is a senior vice president at McGuireWoods Consulting (MWC) where he leads the crisis and litigation communications team. Mark partners with the McGuireWoods law firm food & beverage team to provide food recall communications support and mock food industry and supply chain recall crisis communications training. He has conducted training at Red Robin restaurants, Gallo Enterprises, Beam Suntory, Schwan Food Company, Foremost Farms, Blue Lake Citrus and Continental Dairy. Mark has also supported regulatory policy and litigation communications efforts in the travel and tourism industries in Virginia. Mark’s other clients include the Unmanned Systems Association of Virginia, VIRGINIAforever and Commonwealth Senior Living. As a former broadcast journalist Mark routinely works with national, state and local media outlets.
Prior to joining MWC, Mark was most recently public relations officer for the Virginia Credit Union where he oversaw the organization’s media relations, public affairs, and legislative outreach efforts. Mark has also worked as a television anchor and reporter in Richmond, Virginia (WWBT-12), Portland, Oregon (KOIN-6) and Salisbury, Maryland (WBOC-16).
Mark is also a member of the Virginia Tourism Corporation board of directors.
