Chris Albrecht Chris Albrecht is the Senior Vice President and General Manager for Caesars Virginia. Caesars Virginia opened its temporary facility in Danville on May 15th, 2023 and plans to open its permanent destination resort casino in late 2024.
Chris joined Caesars Entertainment in 2005 as a President’s Associate in Slot Operations. He also previously held the role of Director of Compensation & HR Effectiveness in the corporate office. In 2010, Chris was promoted to Vice President and Executive Associate to the Central Division President, where he worked on a variety of high-profile projects. He returned to the property side in 2012 as Assistant General Manager at Horseshoe Cincinnati, where he assisted with the successful grand opening in 2013. Chris joined Horseshoe Hammond in 2014, also as an Assistant General Manager. He then held the position of Senior Vice President and General Manager for Harrah’s Philadelphia for 6 years prior to coming to Virginia.
Chris holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) and an MBA from the UCLA Anderson School of Management. He enjoys spending time with his wife Alex, daughter Harper, and their 3 dogs.
